Why resistance training? (II)
The benefits of resistance training are well documented and ongoing research continues to show that it is an important activity for our fellow citizens.
Long ago, human muscles were exercised in building, hunting, farming, and other manual tasks necessary for life. Today, however, inactivity has been engineered into our lives with labor-saving devices to the point where our muscles rarely need to be pressed too hard. We make a small paragraph as it is that now, those who go to the gym, many of them, do not exercise their muscles either because they occupy all their time in the gym pending their mobile phones and other electronic devices and for more in ri we intend to introduce more technology in them.
Now, for example, we don’t cut the leaves in our garden, we don’t mow the lawn, we don’t shovel snow, we don’t climb stairs, we don’t walk in airports – the tapes do it for us – we don’t wash the clothes, or the dishes, or even we already pushed the vacuum cleaner. Have you seen robotic vacuum cleaners?
We spend more and more time curbing our computers and televisions. Research shows that inactivity is the second leading cause of death – which could be preventable – in Spain and other countries in the world; It is literally killing us.
Why do resistance exercise? Because it develops strength and muscle tone. Humans lose 2,250 kg of muscle every decade after the age of 30. The number of fibers decreases with age. From 30 years to 70 we can lose more than 25% of the muscle fibers in our body.
Resistance exercise can slow or even reverse the aging process by building muscle mass and strength. It has been shown to build bone. Osteoporosis, a condition of accelerated loss of bone minerals that leads to fractures, can be a crippling disease, particularly in women (although men suffer from it, too), and research on resistance exercise suggests that it can develop bone effects in the old people.
There is evidence that resistance exercise helps reduce moderately high blood pressure. More force can lead to fewer falls in older people. Resistance exercise can increase metabolic rate, a very important factor in maintaining body weight.
Our start in the industry dates back to before 1984, when we manufactured cast weight lifting plates for two important companies in the sector.
In these 30 years, having won customer’s trust in our brand and their satisfaction with our products and services has made us grow, improve and make ourselves known throughout the world.
At this time we continue to design and manufacture quality products with the same effort and enthusiasm as 30 years ago.
